A long long time ago..

This ranch began as a homestead and was originally purchased from the Crown in May, 1904. The land was owned by a family for three generations before being sold to a Doctor from Vancouver. Since that time the property changed ownership several times with the land boundary growing and being reduced with each owner. The buildings were sadly neglected over the subsequent years until 1986, when the Patry family “lost their hearts” to the property. They promptly purchased the land in hopes of preserving the “old” and adding amenities, developing it into the AP Western Guest Ranch. Over the next 35 years, Andre and his family have built most structures on the land tenderly hand-crafting it inch by inch. Today, the AP Ranch stands as a true testament to the enduring spirit of the early settlers and offers visitors a chance to experience the true beauty of British Columbia.
